U.A.W. Endorses McKiddy in the August Primary

With a focus on attracting jobs to Missouri and rebuilding our manufacturing base, Dr. McKiddy was a natural choice for the U.A.W. endorsment.  He stands with Missouri working families and knows that a strong middle class is essential to a working democracy.  Thanks to the ladies and gentlemen of the U.A.W. for their endorsement

Look for the New Facebook Page: SCHS Alumni for McKiddy

Jen Kerner has taken on the task of hosting a Facebook for SCHS alumn who had contact with Dr. McKiddy (1987-2007): Drama students, AP History, College Comp and Lindenwood Early Start Psychology, Speech students, Ludwigsburg Exchange students and those in the other courses he taught. If you have photos of students or class activities, send them to Jen for the page.  Please come to the page and write on the wall.   We hope to get 1,000 friends by the end of the summer.  If you're still in St. Charles or have family there, remember "Vote for Dr. McKiddy!"

Endorsement - Missouri Votes Conservation

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. McKiddy has received the endorsement of Missouri Votes Conservation.  The recent oil spill in the Gulf proves how important it is for Americans to be environmentally conscious.  While the Gulf spill may seem very far from Missouri, it is of national importance and we need to remember that Missouri has many gas and oil pipelines which cross our state.  These industries are an important part of our economy; but government should guarantee that these pipelines are being maintained and operated in ways that do not destroy our environment.  We want to make sure that Missouri's waterways and green spaces are preserved for the use of all -- campers, hikers, hunters, fishermen alike.

Endorsement - Missouri National Education Association

As an educator of over 40 years, Dr. McKiddy is proud to receive the endorsement of Missouri's largest group of public school educators.  Working toward a World Class education for all Missouri students is a major goal of his campaign.  He is a life member of NEA-Retired and looks forward to representing the interest of Missouri's children in the House of Representatives.

Remember the Victims of the Haiti Earthquake - Relief Continues in 2010

Relief Aid Done Right - Haiti

Once again, American have opened their heatrs and their wallets to help others in time of crisis.  The current relief efforts, while they may seem slow, are a good example of how government and private effort can work together for the good of mankind.  Under the protection of the U.S. military, with the use of U.S. military transports, and under the guidance of U.S.A.I.D.; aid from both the American government and from private relief agencies around the world is beginning to reach the people of Haiti.

There are many agencies and organizations which will join in this effort.  They will need to keep a presence in Haiti long after the immediate crisis has pasted as the Haitian people struggle to rebuild their country.  Please do what you can to help.

One group with a St. Charles connection is Global Compassion Ministries.  As many of you may have read in a recent Suburban Journal article, they were working in Haiti before the quake and will continue to do so.  Please help them by sending a contribution:  Global Compassion Ministries, 3205 Buckskin Path, St. Charles, MO 63301.  They are a faith-based charity which has an immediate goal of providing food aid to the Haitian people.  Remember them, the U.S. troops and A.I.D. workers and the people of Haiti in your prayers.
